Can I track my order/parcel?
It depends if your order has tracking!
Smaller items like stickers, enamel pins and cards are sent without tracking by default to keep shipping costs down (but you can choose to upgrade to tracked shipping during checkout).
Handmade items, original art and textiles are sent safely with tracking by default.
If your order has been processed and it does have tracking, you should have received your tracking number via email once it was dispatched.
Upgrading to tracked post is always recommended to avoid lost items; I am not responsible for loss of untracked items. You can read more about my shipping policies here.
My country is not available for shipping?
If shipping does not appear to be available for your country please get in touch so I can look up and give you a quote for shipping to your country, and add it to the list of countries I ship to (if possible).
Unfortunately there are some countries within the EU that I can no longer ship to due to EPR recycling laws with high participation costs which - due to being a small business - don't make sense financially for me to participate in. Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Denmark and Greece are currently excluded from my "ship to" countries list until further notice.
Where are your Felt Goods (they are all sold out ☹)?
I sell handmade felt goods as limited releases announced on my instagram (and sometimes via my mailing list). These are all one of a kind hand-sewn pieces and they tend to sell quickly (sometimes within minutes of going live) so I recommend creating an account ahead of time and setting an alarm just prior to the launch if you're hoping to snap one up!
Do you take commissions?
Short answer? No.
Convoluted answer? In the past I would feel obligated to take on commissions when offered, but I've never enjoyed the process and found it always just made me incredibly anxious, especially with illustration work. I have enough on my plate to keep me busy as it is, and I might as well be working on things that I actually enjoy!
I'm more open to doing hand sewn felt commission work on occasion, but I rarely have the time, so I don't take them on very often.
That being said, I am open to collaborating with small brands and/or publishers on small illustration and textile projects on occasion, if my schedule allows.
Can I get a tattoo of your work?
Yes, I'm generally open to you getting a tattoo of one of my pre-existing artworks, but please always check with me first about the specific design, as some things may be commissions or personal work that I wouldn't be comfortable with (also it's just common courtesy)!
If you do decide to get one of my pieces tattooed I'd appreciate you purchasing a "Tattoo Ticket" from my shop, which is a nice way to support me and my work (I think it's only fair to compensate the original artist for a design that you want to put on your body)!
You can read more about it in the Tattoo Ticket listing here.
Do you have a mailing list?
Yes! I don't send many emails, but I try to keep you up to date about Hannakin shop updates/new releases, exhibitions/market events, and other exciting news! You can sign up to Hannakin Mail here.
Do you wholesale/stock your work in shops?
Yes! Hannakin goodies are stocked in a select range of gift shops and retail outlets nation wide (and a few internationally, too)! You can see my full list of stockists here.
Do you have a lovely little boutique and think Hannakin would be a good fit? You can peruse my wholesale catalogue and purchase items to sell in your retail store here.
Where is your work made/produced?
Every Hannakin product is designed by me (Hanna!) at my home studio in Naarm/Melbourne’s inner west.
I try to keep production small and local; all my printing (prints, cards, stickers, wrapping paper etc.) as well as packaging supplies are sourced from small businesses within Australia.
The only exceptions are enamel pins and washi tapes, which are made in China (as I haven’t been able to find quality local manufacturers of these items).
I also aim to use as much recycled and recyclable products and packaging as possible; my cards and wrapping paper are printed on 100% post consumer recycled paper, my online orders are wrapped in tissue paper made from recycled materials, printed with soy-based inks on FSC-certified paper and is 100% compostable and recyclable, and sent within recycled and recyclable card/paper envelopes, and compostable or reused mailers.
