Bartholomew Botor - Art Doll

Bartholomew Botor (Series 5, No. 00074) is a strange, handmade, soft sculpture art doll.

They are 100% hand sewn, made from sky blue pure wool felt and gold faux leather, and include additions of vintage typewriter keys, watch gear, metal zip and other scrounged metallic bits and bobs.

Bartholomew has (slightly) posable limbs, super bobbly rotatable head (safe and strong but please still handle with care!), a sparky personality, a love of steam engines, and a general dislike of rice pudding.

Bartholomew is one of a kind, there is not, and will never be another just like them.

They come packaged in a lightly textured, white, rigid card display box (measuring 14.5 x 10.5 cm), with a special removable certificate on the back that states both name and other special information about them. Bartholomew is fixed into their display box with clear spaghetti elastic, so they can sit safely displayed within it on your shelf, but also be removed easily to be loved, appreciated and interacted with!

Bartholomew is approximately 12 cm tall. They are stuffed with recycled PET toy fill (made from recycled drink bottles) and have some card inside for structure, and small glass stones in their base for weight.

NOTE: This is NOT A TOY!

The head does bobble a lot when moved due to the attachment technique. It will be strong enough for some general handling and posing, but it is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN/ROUGH PLAY!

It's a little piece of art... While they are nice to hold and touch (in fact, it is recommended that they are, on occasion!) small parts are a choking hazard, and they are delicate.  recommended for adult collectors...)
